A career-related website. 

Hi, I will speak of a website that I personally think is very helpful in my time in college, the link is: pregrado.forestal.uchile.cl

This website is useful because it allows me to review the status of requests and justifications I do.

A request is made to do things that require authorization by the authorities of the University. The justifications are the reasons why I remain absent some activity at the University. In both cases I expect a response from the authority to know if they approve my situation.

Until now, all requests I've done is to take or remove subjects in and out of time, and the justifications are for days when I do not attend classes or evaluations.

I made five requests, of which four have been approved, I also made a lot of justifications which the majority were approved.

The first request I made was to attend a practice, which was rejected and the last thing I did was a justification for missing an exam.

  

A photograph it’s story

This photograph depicts a very special moment for me, is when my son Gustavo prepares to blow out the candles that are on the cake, the context is his second birthday November 17, 2014.

That day not only mean the commemoration of one more year of life of my offspring, but also the way that my baby becomes a child. With each passing moment I can see how much it grows; he can do and say new things.

That day my son was able to share with other children their age, play with buddies and be with many people of the family, it was a special moment when all were gathered to express their love for him.

As all the time, their parents were at his side, playing, taking care from him and making sure that he was always happy.

Finally at night he went to sleep very tired but happy.

My Favourite Piece of Technology.

My favorite piece of technology it is an object that has existed for a long time, thus it has undergone many modifications and variations. In the beginning, only they make rustic materials like branches and tree leaves.

The first one I had, I bought while I was enjoying my vacation ten years ago, since then I change every so often. 

I use it whenever I feel I need, thus I use this every day.

I simply cannot imagine my life without it, because it became a part of my; I talk about hammock.

Currently I use one of natural fibers, which they include silk, alpaca wool and cotton, in this way I managed to obtain the best comfort while sleeping the nap.

Remember that everything is invented by man is technology.

                               

My college life this semester.

I am currently pursuing seven subjects, one of which is pending last year: biophysics, I canceled this subject because I had no time.

This semester I’m studying “Growth and Development of Trees”, “Structure and Functioning of Ecosystems”, “Products and Services of Forests”, “Mathematics Tools 2”, “Statistics and Computer Databases”, “Biophysical” and “English”.

I think that all these subjects are important, but it consumes much of my time, additionally, I'm doing an assistant professorship that is to help younger peers in the laboratory of botany.

Finally one of the last activities that I have this semester is to be godfather to a couple of freshman girls this is to help to include to university life.

My auto-biography.

My Autobiography:

My name is Gabriel Contreras, I don’t know where I was born but I know that is in 1995; since I was one year old I learn to speak, but just to say lies.

I don`t remember anything about me until I nearly die when I fell off a cliff, from that moment I value life more than before.
In this experience I learned a lot, so I decided to leave my offspring as I could; in November 2012, when I turned seventeen, my son was born. Today I live very happily in his company, and I love him more than anything.
